GRAVEL/XC
Goss Moor Multi-Use Trail
A 7-mile (12 km) circular, largely flat trail through Cornwall’s biggest remaining area of lowland heath. Fully off-road and well-surfaced, it is suitable for everything from family rides to steady training spins. The route follows old transport corridors, including sections of the former A30, with wide moorland views, rich wildlife, and traces of local industrial history.

Coast to Coast Cycle Trail
This 11-mile (17.5 km) route runs from the south coast at Devoran to the north coast at Portreath, linking the two seas through Cornwall’s historic mining heartland. Mostly off-road and traffic-free, the trail follows old mineral tramways, passing through woodland, valleys, and open heath. With gentle gradients and plenty of historic sites along the way, it is a popular choice for both family rides and longer leisure cycles.

Camel Trail
One of Cornwall’s most popular traffic-free cycle routes, the Camel Trail runs along a disused railway line with stunning estuary views. Starting from Padstow, the trail follows the Camel Estuary towards Wadebridge and on to Bodmin, making it ideal for all ages and abilities. The flat, well-surfaced path is perfect for families, leisure riders, and anyone looking for a scenic ride without traffic.
Great Flat Lode
A 7.5-mile (12 km) circular route around Carn Brea, the Great Flat Lode Trail explores the heart of Cornwall’s mining heritage. Following old mineral tramways and mine tracks, the trail offers a mix of off-road paths, gentle climbs, and rewarding views across the surrounding countryside. It is best suited to hybrid or mountain bikes and gives riders a real sense of the area’s industrial past with engine houses, chimneys, and mining remains dotted along the way.

Grogely Woods
Grogley Woods sits in the heart of Cornwall’s Camel Valley, just outside Bodmin, and is a well-loved spot for both mountain bikers and walkers. Open year-round, the woodland is part of the public forest estate and offers a mix of scenic trails and challenging rides.
For riders, Grogley is best known for its technical red and black graded mountain bike trails, with steep descents, jumps, drops, and root-filled terrain to test your skills. A 5.6 km loop provides a popular medium-difficulty option, while downhill sections draw more experienced riders.
The woods also connect directly to the Camel Trail, a family-friendly route linking Bodmin to Wadebridge, making Grogley Woods a versatile destination for both adventurous riders and those looking for a gentler day out in nature.
Cardinham Woods
Cardinham Woods is a well-loved woodland near Bodmin in Cornwall, offering a variety of mountain biking and walking experiences for visitors of all abilities. Managed by Forestry England, the woods are part of the public forest estate and are open year-round. The area is famous for its singletrack trails, including the popular Bodmin Beast, which is suitable for riders with basic off-road skills and provides a fun, flowing ride. More advanced cyclists can challenge themselves on optional red-graded trail sections that feature technical terrain and natural obstacles. Lanhydrock Woods
Lanhydrock offers a variety of cycling opportunities across its 1,000-acre estate, catering to riders of all abilities. The estate features purpose-built trails that provide both gentle family-friendly routes and more challenging tracks for experienced cyclists. Visitors can hire bikes from the on-site Cycle Centre, which also provides accessories, repairs, and maintenance services. The trails are designed to showcase the natural beauty of the parkland and woodlands while offering safe and enjoyable riding experiences. Bishops & Hustans
Bishops and Hustyns Woods, located between Wadebridge and Bodmin in Cornwall, are popular destinations for mountain biking, offering a mix of natural singletrack trails for cross-country and downhill riding. Bishops Wood features varied terrain suitable for riders of different skill levels, while Hustyns Woods is known for its more challenging downhill tracks. The woods can be easily accessed from the Camel Trail via a turn near a road bridge, making them convenient for cyclists exploring the area. Local cycling groups, including the Wadebridge Coasters Cycling Club, regularly use these trails, highlighting their reputation as a top spot for mountain biking in the region.

Old Hill Bike Park
Old Hill Bike Park is a family-run destination in Cornwall, designed for riders of all ages and abilities. The park offers a welcoming and affordable space for families, with trails ranging from easy green routes for balance bikes to challenging black runs featuring unique wooden features.
In addition to the varied trails, visitors will find a dedicated session area, with further developments planned to expand the park and add even more exciting routes in the future.


Woody's Bike Park
Woody’s Bike Park holds the distinction of being the first purpose-built bike park in Cornwall. Family-owned and run by passionate mountain bikers, it offers trails for every ability level, from smooth and flowing blue runs to some of the biggest jump lines in the country. Riders can enjoy fast descents before being transported back to the top of the 110-acre farm on one of the smoothest uplift roads around.
Located just outside the fishing town of Fowey on Cornwall’s scenic south coast, the park is designed to maximise thrills and variety. Features include deep berms, technical rock gardens built with local granite, perfectly shaped tables, and impressive doubles. Wide, flowing jump trails inspired by the legendary riding of Canada’s West Coast ensure there is always something new to challenge and excite riders.
Chacewood Bike Park
Chacewood Bike Park is a family-owned trail centre located near Chacewater, built with riders of all levels in mind. The park features a variety of trails, from flowing blue lines perfect for building confidence and enjoying a fun ride, to technical black trails packed with big jumps and challenging drops that push even the most skilled riders to their limits. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed session with friends or testing yourself on demanding features, Chacewood Bike Park has something for everyone.
